When I was in high school, there I had a French teacher who was simply not inspired or inspiring.  He gave me a “C” and told me I didn’t have and ear for language.  I would simply never be good at languages.

After graduation I spent two weeks in Paris and decided to move there for a few years.  That meant the dreaded language lessons.  Despite my bad experience with high school courses, I decided to learn french course or not.

A friend showed me a website where I downloaded a French course.  Once I’d used the audio tapes, practiced the vocabulary, and made CD’s so I could listen everywhere, I found myself speaking French quite easily.

And, after a year in Paris, I felt like a native.  If only my high school teacher could see me now.

Debt consolidation loans has become the new means to financial freedom. Sounds easy enough, consolidate your bills, pay one monthly bill, lower your interest rates and be debt free. But, there are some catches to this practice. Debt consolidation may not be for everyone. Debt consolidation doesn’t happen overnight. The process for the company to contact all of your creditors and negotiate may take at least a month. In the meantime, they will tell you not to pay your individual creditors. So while they negotiate and try to convince your creditors to accept their programs, your account is going into default. Now you have late fees and possibly a higher interest rate when all you wanted to do was lower your debt. If you had high balances on your accounts but always paid on time, prepare to possibly have your accounts become late. If your accounts are already late and you contact a debt consolidation company, by the time the consolidation starts up, your delinquent account will have been put on your credit report. So before you sign up to join a debt consolidation company, do your homework and ask plenty of questions. Let debt consolidation do less harm and more good.

I am lucky to have options when it comes to health insurance. I know that everyone is not so fortunate. You see, both my husband and I have medical insurance available through our workplaces, and as such we were able to pick the one that best suited our family. I know not everyone is so lucky, but their are websites available that will allow you to type your personal information into a form and then submit it to several different companies. You are able to compare the rates and policies of all these companies with one form and without ever having to leave your home.

There are many new sites available for dating and especially, for specific religious preferences. I love to go to the Jewish Dating sites to get my daily dose of great Jewish men. I’m a wonderful Jewish girl or woman at this point in my life and am in need of some good humor, fun times and a lovely Jewish man, to accent my life.
I found this site that offers trips for Jewish singles, to numerous different places. They specialize in meeting other Jewish singles in a more intimate way by going away for a weekend or longer.
I hope to one day meet my Jewish soul mate and be able to settle down again.

I hate it when I always have to look past the trash and crap movies that Hollywood is doling out to the public.  A great movie is something that challenges your current state of mind.  The so-called disturbing movies would fall into that category.  Understandably, I prefer those kinds of movies.  Some of the remaining good movies today belong to the genre of dark comedy and political satire such as Fight Club.The movie Fight Club evades easy categorization; I feel that the movie has created a new category for itself.  Fight Club is basically about a battle of a regular office guy who battles with the concepts of modern commercialism.  The main character hates everything in credit cards, identity protection from Lifelock.com and even bank loans.  He aims to unite all office sleepwalkers to go against the system of enslavement.      

OK, you have heard about a money affiliate program and now want to know what it is? Really an affiliate program is a way that a producer of a product or service can harness a whole bunch of commission-only sales people (known as affiliates) to sell the product for them. And if they have enough affiliates selling the products or services, the producer stands to make a great deal of money. But it is not all a one-sided arrangement becuase the affiliates selling the product can make 50%, 60% even 70% of the price of the product they are selling, earning them a very healthy profit. The following day Casey brought me in wood samples to show me the wood that she thought would be a perfect fit for the pink color that I choose. I couldn’t wait to see my custom built studies. I snuck a peek at the window treatments as they arrived. I saw Casey hold them up on the windows and next to the wood. I was listening to her comments about what should go where and where artwork should hang and what type of sculptures should go on the tables and shelves. The work was going along great and I was hoping that it would not take a month.
