Is it just me or are babies and kids looking way cooler than me these days? Between all the cool baby clothes the celebs have their kids draped in and the Miley Cirus brigade of Urban Outfitters clad teens, I’m hopelessly behind. I get that I’m not supposed to dress too young and I don’t like anything that even nears Ann Taylor so it leaves me somewhere in the middle. I can still totally rock jeans and a t-shirt so I’m going to stick with that look for a while. To that end, I just found a great new tee company called Tiny Revolutionary. They focus on making clothes for kids but they recently added a line called The Giving Tee and that has the coolest, softest graphic tee’s. They are all affiliated with charities and donate a huge chunk of the sale to the charity. When I got mine, I immediately thought of the same blank tee I purchased at Neiman’s for $40 and here I was buying one from them for the same price except half of the purchase price went to charity. Hey, maybe clothes that give back should be my new style. Dig it.

My dad taught me to fly when I was a small child. He used to take me up in his tiny little plane and let me have the stick. Then he would talk about flying like it was freedom itself while I held learned to bank right and left. He would also take me with him whenever the plane needed repairs, visiting The Gyro House and chatting with the mechanics. I learned to love flying.
