My family has been recycling plastic and glass products for years but never thought about the fact that proper battery disposal is just as important. A friend of mine made me a aware of this fact in a recent conversation and I decided to take action. I went online the same day, ordered a disposal bin for the many batteries that my family uses and now tell all my friends, family and anyone else who will listen, how important it is that batteries be included in our recycling efforts. I am extremely grateful to my friend for bringing this to my attention.
