My daughter is currently attending college and she is getting into the medical profession.  I am so happy about this because there is always a need for medical workers and there will never be a job shortage in this line of work.  She is still deciding exactly which position she wants to do.  She was telling me about a surgical technician salary and I was impressed.  She would be great and that and she is thinking about it very seriously.  I know that she makes wise choices and I have faith that she will mke the right decision as far as her profession.

I know that some people might say that you can only really do one thing well, but he does so many things that I know he is great at all of them. 

After I graduated from college several years ago, I went right to work in my field. I kept getting passed up for the best jobs, and one of the program directors told me that it was because I didn’t have an advanced degree. My exmormon dad absolutely despises white meat at Thanksgiving, I think because his mom’s turkey always turned out really dry, but he didn’t seem to mind it when my brother cooked it. My brother is a great cook. I think my exmormon dad will eat pretty much anything he makes. But his favorite thing at Thanksgiving (and his birthday and pretty much every other holiday or even non-holidays) is the pumpkin pie my mom makes. She makes it from scratch. My son has grown to love pumpkin pie just as much and he can’t decide between that and cheesecake for his birthday this year.

I can’t stand feet unless they are really small and cute, like baby feet. I wasn’t quite sure how I grew to hate them so much, but I realized it had to do with my exmormon dad’s hideous feet. They’re really hairy, rather grotesque, and he often had Athlete’s Foot or toenail fungus. He loved to tick me off by asking me to rub them. Anyway, I contemplated becoming a massage therapist until I remembered I would have to touch feet – maybe even feet that look like my exmormon dad’s feet.  I just don’t know if I could handle such a thing.
