I work at a homeless shelter, as the activities coordinator. My job is to inspire confidence and self esteem of the people who end up staying here. Often these people are down on their luck, and feel hopeless and depressed, One day I taught everyone here how to make a soy candle. My reason for was teaching this, was because a great deal of creativity and thought goes into creating a candle. The idea was a success, for the people here have a chance to explore their self expressions. This has drastically reduced depression and hopeless feelings with everyone. I am happy because I feel I have made a positive difference in the lives of these precious people.
