As I covered the the birds in my backyard so that the rain would not annoy them for the third time in two days I thought it would be a good idea to get real Bird Cages covers that would do a much better job of protecting my birds from the rain. The other reason for covering is so the birds will be able to rest, covering the cage will imitate darkness which will cause the bird to relax. Anyway I also have birds and parrots inside my house and in their case there is no need to protect them from the rain.
