Fairness and Happiness

This was first sent to A Daily Dose of Happiness ezine subscribers.

 Here we go again… "It’s not fair." Where Little Lady learned that response to every command, suggestion and comment is beyond me.  But as I keep telling her… It’s not fair that the earth worms have to do all the digging.  When do we give them a day off? It’s not fair that we heard the sheep.  When will it be their turn to herd us? It’s not fair that we get to put fences and walls up to block the paths of the other animals.  When will we tear down all the fences and walls?   It’s not fair that less than one percent of the creatures get to rule the world…but we do.  Fairness has nothing to do with it.  You should thank God every day that it’s just not fair.
