We found that crate training was a huge help when it came to our puppy. Training indoor dogs is hard but with the crate we found our bichon, Jack to do really well. He uses his crate to sleep in and that’s it. In the beginning he had to earn his time to be free in the house but now we leave the door to the crate open and he goes in when he wants to. He is a good boy and does well in the house. So well that when he sees us leave he goes to his crate without even being told to.
