Tithing Via The Internet

Our church announced that it had recently put up a new website for the congregation to enjoy.  I went there fully expecting to see transcripts of the sermon or a list of community and church activities.  The one thing I didn’t expect to see was a buy link on a church website.  Apparently, you can now tithe now on the church’s website.  Additionally, they’ve set up a gift shop where you can purchase church tee shirts and DVDs of pageants put on at Christmas.  I guess I’m just out of sorts with the times.  I prefer to put my folded up check in the offering plate not click on some buy button to donate.
